About our Breeding Program
We take pride in the KuneKune pigs we produce on our farm. We are always striving to improve our genetics as we are primarily geared towards pork production, and ease of farrowing.

Our KuneKune herd enjoys the benefits of rotationally grazing our pastures and are fed a custom feed from our friends at Homestead Harvest, specially formulated for them. If you'd like to see our herd before being added to our waitlist, please feel free to stop by any Friday or Sunday from 12-4 (normal market hours). We would be more than happy to answer your questions and show you our pigs.

There is no charge associated with our waitlist if you would like to be added. It simply is a "wish list" that way we can be sure to only reach out to you with options that fit your requirements. Before being added to our waitlist we like discuss the needs of your farm/homestead. This allows us to give advice on what we believe will work best, if you don't have specific bloodlines/litters you would like to choose from. Our goal is to always fit you with a pig that will align with your goals.

Rest assured, if you've never owned pigs. We mentor each and every one of our customers as little or as much as you need. To include, but not limited to, answering questions on how to manage them on your property, feeding requirements, general care, breeding, farrowing, the registration process and everything in between. You can feel confident in the fact that you will not need to do this alone when you purchase a pig from us.

If you've been wanting to purchase a pig from us but noticed the listings below are outdated, that's because in 2023 we evaluated how we were selling our breeding stock. Previously we sold piglets around 10-12 weeks to their new farms. With a lot of consideration we've decided to change how we handle the sales of breeding stock. In an effort to provide you with a clear indication of what you are purchasing we no longer sell piglets outside of feeder/companions. Which is extremely limited each year as we raise most of our piglets that are registered for pork for our on-farm market.

When purchasing breeding stock from us currently, you can expect to purchase a pig that is around 8-12 months. This is solely to be able to evaluate our stock into maturity and ensuring you the best possible choices out of a litter. In retaining our stock until closer to maturity it will allow us to keep them under our feeding protocols, husbandry & setting your farm/homestead up for success as we strive to provide you with the best livestock possible.

We are narrowing down with pigs we retained from 2023 we will be offering for sale. Our breeding stock sales moving forward will be extremely limited and we will only offer pigs that meet our standards of pork production.
