ABOUT THE BREED
KuneKune (pronounced cooney cooney)
KuneKune originated in New Zealand and were introduced to the United States in the 1970's. They are a true heritage grazing pig with minimal to no rooting. KuneKune are known for their unique color patterns, long hair, upturned snouts, and docile temperaments. They make exceptional pets, are shown competitively across the nation, and are gaining popularity for meat production.
If you're interested in learning more about the breed, visit the American KuneKune Pig Registry and you can view our registered stock/their genetics here.
We like to offer our customers a wide variety of options. Our selection ranges from unregistered pigs, registered breeding stock, extremely rare genetics, and meat production bloodlines.
Ultimately, what your end goal for your pig(s) are will determine which will make the perfect fit. We are more than happy to help you make that difficult decision!
